The Challenge
The CT Simulator replacement was initially scheduled to extend into the following year; however, upcoming manufacturer pricing increases created a significant cost risk if the new equipment could not be delivered before year-end. The project team needed to accelerate design, construction, equipment coordination, and turnover while maintaining quality and compliance within an active healthcare environment.
Our Approach
Toltec Group worked closely with the facility, design team, contractors, and equipment vendor to identify opportunities to compress the project schedule. Procurement, construction activities, equipment coordination, and required inspections were closely managed to eliminate unnecessary schedule gaps and maintain momentum toward an accelerated turnover date.
The Outcome
The project was completed approximately eight weeks ahead of schedule, allowing the new CT simulator to be delivered and accepted before year-end. Meeting the accelerated milestone avoided the anticipated new-year equipment price increase while delivering the replacement system without compromising project quality or compliance.
