Construction of a fully integrated urgent care and medical clinic designed to support both walk-in patient care and diagnostic services. The project included exam rooms, radiology imaging space, clinical treatment areas, nurse stations, administrative offices, and patient support spaces. Careful coordination of medical equipment, specialized mechanical systems, and patient flow planning ensured an efficient clinical environment that supports both patient comfort and operational efficiency.

The Challenge
During active construction, the project scope expanded to include an X-ray room that was not part of the original design or budget. The team was tasked with advancing design revisions in parallel with ongoing construction and implementing value engineering measures elsewhere in the clinic to offset the added hard construction costs—without delaying delivery.

Our Approach
Toltec Group led the project with a disciplined approach tailored to the requirements of a medical office clinic with radiology and urgent care services. Early coordination with the design team, imaging consultants, and clinical users ensured alignment between regulatory compliance, equipment requirements, and clinical workflows. Careful planning, sequencing, and quality oversight supported efficient execution across imaging, treatment, and support spaces. Proactive communication and cost tracking allowed the project team to maintain control and deliver a cohesive, compliant healthcare environment.
The Outcome
The clinic was completed as a high-performing healthcare environment designed to support patient care, staff workflow, and operational efficiency. Clear planning and accountable execution ensured a smooth delivery and confident transition into use.
Key Takeaway
Designed and delivered with patient care, staff workflow, and long-term operations in mind.
